The firm’s has a dynamic and diverse client base ranging from not for profit companies, local owner managed businesses, through to high growth international groups and an increasing number of listed and public interest entities.
To support growth in its audit and assurance practice the firm is seeking to enhance its Audit Quality Risk and Technical (“AQRT”) Team, with an ambitious, driven and experienced Director or Senior Manager.
Role description
The successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s Head of AQRT and Head of Audit in a pivotal role which is focused on leading, supporting and reinforcing the firm’s audit culture of delivering high quality audit and other assurance engagement. The successful candidate will offer a high level of financial reporting and audit technical knowledge.
The role lends itself well to hybrid working where successful candidates can, should they wish to, work from home. There will, however, be a requirement to make periodic visits to each of the firm’s key audit offices and to attend in person training sessions when these return. Due to the ability to adopt hybrid working the role is open to a range of candidates including those who are not based near the firm’s offices or in Scotland.
