The Payroll Manager/Senior Manager is responsible for management of onboarding of new clients, training structure for the payroll team, management of relationships with external software providers and internal IT contacts, champion of all payroll software, providing client consultancy/secondment as required. This role can be based in either our Aberdeen or Elgin office.

It is necessary for the candidate to demonstrate ability to deliver training/mentorship to a payroll team, and ideally have experience of working within a bureau environment.
It is advantageous for candidates to have previous experience of working with IRIS payroll professional (previously known as STAR payroll professional) software, and strong system integration experience.
Experience of international payroll is also preferred.
The successful candidate will be educated to higher level (or equivalent). Previous experience of people management and working closely with a management team would be beneficial.
