We work with FS organisations on everything from strategy planning, performance improvement and complex change, with the fundamental objective of improving their bottom line, managing risk and improving their customer experience to create sustainable value. We're looking to build our Financial Services Consulting team, by recruiting for the following position.
The Lead Consultant / Manager will lead and work as part of an engagement team on a variety of client engagements covering strategy, performance improvement and complex change to support our clients understand the problem, consider options and reach a conclusion as well as to work alongside our clients as part of a cross-functional team within their businesses to successfully deliver the engagement.
The successful candidate will lead and manage a portfolio of business improvement projects, clearly defining and agreeing targets with our clients, to ensure the projects are successfully delivered. They will work closely with other Johnston Carmichael Business Lines to identify other opportunities for the firm's services and ensure they are highlighted to the appropriate team within the firm.
This is an exciting customer-facing role which incorporates business development, people management, business analysis, process improvement and project management. This role would suit someone with financial services industry knowledge, understanding of current trends & developments, strong commercial acumen and a keen interest in what makes businesses successful.
You will also be expected to take an active role in how we develop the practice (e.g. account management, developing thought leadership, internal projects), to take responsibility for your continuing professional development and to coach, mentor & support the people you work with on engagements and line manage.
