The successful candidate will support the current teams located in Elgin and Aberdeen with the desire being to build a team on location around this role. The candidate will therefore be based remotely from their direct line manager so must possess strong communication skills with the ability to deliver work efficiently unsupervised.

Previous experience of working with IRIS payroll professional software (previously Star) would be advantageous. Applicants will have worked in a similar role previously and ideally have bureau experience. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative and comfortable working remotely from the team.
The successful candidate will be educated to higher level (or equivalent) with a BTEC Payroll qualification (or equivalent) being advantageous, but not essential. Previous experience of people management and working closely with a management team would be beneficial.
